Innov X Africa will be exclusively distributing Geotek’s state of the art BoxScan & multi-sensor core logger platform range and our innovative X-ray CT equipment in this thriving region. Innov X Africa will be working closely with Geotek’s experienced mining consultants, and Phoenix Mining Technologies, providing the South African resource industries with the latest in cutting edge core scanning equipment.

Multi-sensor core scanning is now considered a crucial part in every stage of a mining evaluation chain, therefore the value in having this type of high-resolution technology present in Africa’s growing industrial economies, is a key step to ensuring accurate mineral assaying techniques and subsequent determination of potential resources.

Innov X Africa have a well established presence in the geoscience markets, particularly in the Gold and Copper Belt regions, as they are also the exclusive distributor of Olympus XRF and XRD technology in Sub-Saharan Africa, and have provided equipment to many major mining companies. The integration of the Olympus Vanta XRF onto Geotek’s platforms has proved to be a valuable parameter in the deduction of core composition and lithology type, extremely useful for mineral exploration.
